Aron Bohlig is the Founder of ComCap LLC. Aron has worked in the fields of finance and technology for approximately twenty-three years. As an investment banker Aron has completed billions of dollars of financing and M&A transactions with sponsor-backed, private and public companies. Transactions have included IPOs, cross-border mergers, divestitures and acquisitions as well as a wide variety of public and private debt and equity financings. Aron has extensive international experience having completed transactions in Western Europe, Russia, Japan, China and the ASEAN region.
Previously Aron worked at Credit Suisse, Savvian and Investec. As an operator he has served as President of a European division of a Texas Pacific Group portfolio company (Become.com) and has held director-level sales engineering, vertical sales and product management positions within the Clarify software division of Nortel Networks where his responsibilities included strategy, new product introduction and business development in the US, Europe and Asia. Aron is co-author of a book on selling business to business technology products. Aron is also a member of the oldest angel investing group, the Band of Angels. Aron holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in computer science from the University of Puget Sound.
Aron enjoys skiing, surfing, running and going to the theater and frequently attempts to convince his two daughters to stop staring at their phones long enough to join him.
Fermin Caro is a Founder and Director of ComCap, focusing on ecommerce services, SaaS, and payments companies. Fermin has over 16 years of experience in investing in and advising high growth software and tech enabled services companies. He’s made over 20 private equity investments, and advised on over 30 buy-side and M&A technology, payments, and ecommerce transactions across the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. At ComCap he has advised emerging and global technology and services companies on their growth and business strategies.
Fermin previously worked as part of the Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse in the Tech, Media, Telecom and Financial Institutions practices in both New York and London. Prior to Credit Suisse, Fermin was an investment professional managing Fund of Funds investments at SVB Capital. He also oversaw strategic fund and direct equity investments for Silicon Valley Bank and worked closely with their technology and venture capital commercial banking groups.
Fermin graduated with distinction from the Yale School of Management (MBA) and received his BA from San Diego State University. Originally from Mexico City, he grew up in Southern California and now resides in San Francisco with his wife, and three daughters. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and enjoys international travel, tennis and sailing.
Steve Terry is a Managing Director at ComCap LLC. He has been a technology investment banker for over twenty years. He began his investment banking career with Kidder Peabody’s M&A group in New York and moved to the Bay Area in 1995 to work with Robertson Stephens. He was fortunate to have had the chance to work with industry defining technology businesses in the early stages of their development such as Pixar and E*Trade, and was trained in the importance of positioning businesses such as these for the best possible reception by the capital markets.
He has executed hundreds of transactions including: mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, private and public equity and debt issuances, including convertible bonds. He has worked at both large platform, full service investment banks such as Credit Suisse First Boston’s Technology Group led by Frank Quattrone, and smaller boutiques such as Montgomery & Co. Steve also worked at Battery Ventures as a Venture Partner. In that role he was in charge of all capital markets activities throughout the portfolio. He holds an MBA from the Red McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin, and a BBA in finance from Texas A&M University.
Steve always wanted to live in the Bay Area due to its vibrant windsurfing community, but he went to the dark side of kiteboarding in 1999 and never looked back. He can be characterized as an average (according to his son), but enthusiastic surfer, loves to cook and plays guitar, vocals and harmonica in a local Mill Valley, CA dad band.
Carlos Gonzalez is a Director at ComCap LLC. Carlos has over ten years of experience advising a wide range of companies, from Fortune 500 corporations to high tech start-ups, on M&A, public and private financings, and strategic initiatives. Carlos has extensive international experience, having completed mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and private financings in the US, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
Previously, Carlos was an investment banker at IGC Holdings, where he advised leading eCommerce, FinTech, and software companies on M&A and financing alternatives. Prior to IGC, Carlos was a corporate strategy and M&A consultant at L.E.K. Consulting where he focused on the US, Europe, and Latin America, and executed 20+ comprehensive client engagements across industries. Prior to L.E.K., Carlos was a corporate finance consultant at Bates White Economic Consulting, where he completed advanced economic and financial analysis on a variety of high-profile engagements.
Carlos received his undergraduate degree in Economics, Political Science, and Communication and a concentration in Legal Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School. He also holds a Certificate in Advanced Project Management and a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University.
Carlos spends his time between Moscow and London. He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French and Russian. Carlos is a passionate tennis player and golfer and a former member of the University of Pennsylvania rowing and track & field teams.
Collin Rice is a Senior Associate at the firm and is based out of San Francisco. He has 5 years of buy and sell side experience spanning multiple industries across the United States.
Most recently, he was an Investment Analyst at Ultra Capital covering sustainable infrastructure and clean technology where he supported the execution efforts on multiple investments across the waste, water, and energy sectors.
Prior to Ultra, Collin was an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities, where he covered the energy, power, and midstream sectors. While at Wells Fargo, he worked on several M&A, debt, and equity transactions for Fortune 500 companies.
Collin has also held internships at Hang Lung Properties LLC in Hong Kong, where he supported the firm’s real estate investment group.
Collin hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but was elated when he was given the opportunity to leave the frozen tundra of the Midwest to attend the University of Southern California. He graduated USC with honors and now resides in San Francisco, where, in his free time, he enjoys paintball, travelling, and practicing his broken Mandarin in Chinatown.
Peter is an Associate at ComCap, a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, and an entrepreneur with several years of retail and ecommerce family business experience.
He joined ComCap after graduating Cum Laude with an MBA in finance from Babson’s FW Olin Graduate School of Business. Prior to Babson, he earned a BA in Philosophy from Pepperdine University, and was Vice President of the nationally ranked Rugby Football Club.
While serving in the Coast Guard, he advanced to the rank of E5 in 2 years, beating the average promotion time by 5 years.
At his retail family business, Peter was in charge of finance and strategy, but his entrepreneurial career began when he bought an 11’ Boston Whaler at the age of 12 with the proceeds from his lemonade stand on Nantucket.
He lives with his wife in San Francisco, and enjoys sailing, surfing, and squash – and the occasional pickup rugby match.
Sakshi Goel serves as an Associate at ComCap LLC. She has over 9 years of experience working in Investment banking industry. Previously she served as a Deputy Senior Associate at Copal Partners (currently known as Copal Amba) a provider of investment banking, equity research and M&A advisory service to the global financial and corporate sectors, where she was part of the investment research team. She also served as a part of Content Development team at Copal Institute, a training arm of Copal Partners. Sakshi began her career as a Relationship Manager at Share khan in India.
Sakshi holds a Masters in Finance and Marketing from Institute of Marketing and Management, and B․Com (Hons) degree from Lady Shri Ram College at the Delhi University in India. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her son and family.
Daniel Radomysler is an Associate at ComCap LLC. Daniel has over eight years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, consulting and entrepreneurship in Brazil.
Most recently, he founded an M&A advisory firm focused on advising middle-market companies and technology start-ups in M&A, private financings and strategic initiatives. Daniel has also worked in a venture capital firm and executed investments on late-stage FinTech, eCommerce marketplace, marketing and software companies.
Previously Daniel worked at Itaú BBA, the most important bank in Latin America, in the investment banking division advising clients across multiple industries on sell-side and buy-side M&A and capital markets transactions. He also worked with management consulting at Accenture, where he completed projects for large multinational corporations.
Daniel started his professional career as an entrepreneur, founding an eCommerce start-up before graduating from university. He was in charge of finance and logistics and successfully accomplished the sale of the company to a strategic investor.
Daniel graduated in Business Administration from Insper Business School, São Paulo, Brazil, and is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. He enjoys surfing, playing tennis, soccer and reading.
Jack Kim is an Analyst at ComCap. He has previously worked as an investment banking summer analyst at CEC Capital with a focus on technology and healthcare. Prior to that, he has interned in sunny Miami at Endeavor where he supported entrepreneur growth and selection and at Bespoke Investment Group where he researched public equity markets. He also has interned as various software engineering roles at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Jack graduated with a BA in Economics from Cornell University, where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He spends his spare time playing guitar, piano, and bass guitar in a variety of musical genres.
James is an Analyst at ComCap. Previously, he worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse, specializing in technology coverage and M&A. Prior to that, he interned at PNC Financial and BNY Mellon in their Sales & Trading and Private Wealth departments and at The Zebra during their incubation period (Now valued at $100m+).
James graduated with a BA in Finance from Indiana University, where he was a member of the Investment Banking Workshop, a two-year program designed to prepare students for careers in investment banking.
When not in the office, he enjoys hiking, skiing, tennis and all things Pittsburgh sports.
Father of 3 (2 boys, 1 girl), lover of the outdoors (bike, ski, swim, tennis), passionate about startups and innovation (founded 2, sold 1), and adept at operating within large enterprises, like Macy’s.
While at Macy’s, Steve worked on both strategic and tactical initiatives. Strategically, he worked with the c-suite to establish a knowledge-base on emerging technologies and consumer trends; the goal being to ensure that Macy’s continues to test and learn in order to deliver the best customer experience. Some key initiatives he worked on were The Market@ Macy’s, Macy’s Style Crew, in-store analytics via b8ta, and ARVR for Big Ticket. Tactically he partnered with business units to understand their 12-month product roadmaps, and where appropriate, introduced technology partners to help accelerate those roadmaps.
Steve brings his insights and expertise to ComCap in a business development capacity to help add enterprise value to our clients.
Fun fact: San Francisco’s very own Chronicle books published Steve’s first children’s book “Old MacDonald Had a Truck” in March 2016. It’s getting rave reviews from both girls and boys, ages 2-5! Book 2, “Old MacDonald Had a Boat” came out in March 2018, and Old MacDonald Had a Truck (the board version) is set for a fall 2019 release.
Head of Administration
Charlotte Brook is Head of Administration at ComCap. She has over ten years’ experience in business administration gained with start-ups and small businesses in the Bay Area. An alumna of the University of London and the University of Gloucestershire, she holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management and Marketing. Initially based in London, Charlotte worked in marketing both client-side and agency-side before taking an opportunity to move to San Francisco.
Charlotte lives in San Francisco with her husband and 3 children. Her perfect day is a family bike ride and picnic, followed by dinner (without children) at a French restaurant and a trip to the SF opera!
